    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

Ok, now it's my last post, I think it's a great to leave in this thread I created when the Wii U was just released. What a ride... I joined the site here because @Menashe recruited me while I was contributing on Gametrailers ( such a great wesbite, it will be missed... ). He really liked my...

    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

That's one thing to disagree, but that's another one to call out people are "narrow sighted"... We agree to disagree on this subject fine, but do you need to say narrow minded ? Really ? What's the point of having forum if it's to get people with the same opinions ? I'm not interested in that...

    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

So Nintendo revised its number for the current fiscal year. They actually divided profits projectives by two : they now expects profits of 17 billion yen ( around 208 million $ ) for FY 16. This revisions is a direct results of declining sales of the 3DS. As I mentioned on several occasions in...

    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

It won't work this time around. The 3rd party devs won't bring ports to NX to get abysmal sales as it was the case on Wii U. I mean 300 K unit sold for a Call of Duty game on Wii U ? Seriously... Activision - and the other 3rd party devs - won't support the NX if Nintendo cannot get its act...

Nintendo "working on sleep tracking alarm clock with a built-in projector"

So QOL are going the way of the Vitality sensor then... Maybe it's better that way. Mobile games will bring much more money :) ! Good call Kimishima :)

    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

80 million softwares sold in 3 years on Wii U. That's pathetic ! If 3rd party devs were onboard, you can be sure those numbers would be much better. Fifa and Call of Duty on Wii managed to sell over a million copies !!! That's lots of money for 3rd party devs even if it's not the 10 million+...

    Wii U / 3DS sales thread

@mattavelle1 , I don't understand why this didn't remain as thread. It's a news that is all over the place from the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal to Gamespot. So imo it has its place in the "Gaming news" thread. We barely have threads in the section, I'm trying to get it going and this it...

    NX Launch Window Titles

But on Wii U and Gamecube, the hardware sales plummeted once the 3rd party deserted the platform. The only difference is that on Gamecube, some 3rd party remained with Nintendo until the end as Capcom or Sega. On Wii U, they jumped ship VERY EARLY in the generation and pretty much nobody...

    NX Launch Window Titles

Ok let's do one thing then, pick the top 5 games of each Nintendo home console since the NES, tell me if you see the same greatness... Here is my take : NES : Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario Bros, the Legend of Zelda, the Adventure of Link and Punch Out. SNES : Super Mario World, a link to...

    NX Launch Window Titles

That's not what I'm saying when I refer to conservative Nintendo fans. I'm talking about the guys who ALWAYS want to keep the statuo quo : 3rd party games can't work on Nintendo, 1 Mario kart per gen is perfect, Nintendo should not go on mobile, Nintendo should not do DLC, Zelda should not have...

    NX Launch Window Titles

First of all I'm referring to the high score games mainly. Not Metacritic score in general. That's why I was referring to the 95+ Metacritic games. You can take 90+ or 85+ range if you want to. I think we would get the same results : Nintendo games are not getting as often high score as once...

    NX Launch Window Titles

Barely few years ago I was pretty much the ONLY one here at TNE to call for Nintendo games on mobile platforms. EVERYBODY said it should not happen, that it would kill the traditional Nintendo business. Despite the INDISPUTABLE fact that the mobile market was growing at a staggering pace and...
