Some of the more interesting points are that
  1. They want to essentially "break" Moore's Law by utilizing software + hardware...
  2. ...to do this they will open source the GPU!
  3. They reference consoles as the reason for the type of thinking. Consoles can provide more power with less due to the openness of the hardware.
  4. Keep in mind Nintendo NX is supposedly using some sort of new amazing hardware and working with AMD! Maybe this will be the first official Polaris GPU/APU?

Very interesting indeed. I think one of the most fascinating possible feature of the NX is the ability to increase the power of the console by using other hardware... I have no idea how they could do such a thing, but maybe it's related indeed to AMD.

I really hope Nintendo goes for something groundbreaking with NX and not something safe as a chip just as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One.

Ok let's go back to the game, maybe the last Peyton Manning one...
