Sennheiser HD 280 are good headphones for sure, and though the clamping force can definitely get uncomfortable, it also means that the sound isolation is great, since the cans are closed.
On the other hand, the Sennheiser HD 598 are open so they don't isolate sound basically at all, but the sheer sound quality is far better than the HD 280. I love my HD 598 more than any other pair I've ever had, and sometimes they're on a bargain, but if sound isolation is the priority for you then they might not satisfy you. But as a pair of speakers, they're amazing. I'm not even sure the Switch has a good enough DAC for those phones to really shine, but they're good to have all around.
