Nintendo is apparently starting to pay more attention to curation and discoverability on the Nintendo eShop, even if it’s in a weird way. Basically, the platform holder is cracking down on publishers who take advantage of an eShop discount loophole, according to an explanation at Gamasutra. This loophole involved offering games for free if you own another title from that publisher, boosting the game into the top download charts for greater visibility.
