Square Enix CEO and president Yosuke Matsuda recently talked about Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate and what it means to the future of DQ. The information comes from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine in Japan (via ryokutya2089). “Dragon Quest XII is being developed with the next 10 to 20 years of the Dragon Quest series in mind,” Matsuda told Famitsu in the interview. “There are parts (of Dragon Quest XII) that retain the traditional image of DQ, but new parts are also needed.
