Last night, another real world event was announced for Pokémon GO, taking place in Taiwan. In conjunction with New Taipei City’s municipal government, the city’s Metropolitan Park will host a Safari Zone for the game later this year. The event kicks off on October 3 and lasts until October 6, from 10am to 5pm each day. New Taipei Safari Zone will highlight Bug, Grass, and Water-type Pokémon in particular, including the regional exclusive Heracross; the dual-type Bug and Fighting Pokémon is otherwise native to South America, southern Florida, and Texas in the game.
