Today, I discovered that for the past few years, Nickelodeon Animation has hosted an internal Super Smash Bros. tournament. Last year, over 70 employees participated, while around 200 watched them duke it out. For this year’s tournament, they’re using Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and to celebrate, SpongeBob Squarepants storyboard artist Kurt Snyder has created the ultimate Smash-up. The ambitious cross-over features famous Nickelodeon characters throughout its vast history.
