It’s going to be a little more annoying to buy video games in Japan soon. Japan’s consumption tax is about to make the jump from 8 percent to 10 percent. This means that, starting Oct. 1, everything in Japan is going to be a little more expensive. Nintendo in Japan revealed that this tax will also affect their online sales, meaning that both Switch Online and eShop prices will be going up. The price jump isn’t necessarily intense.
