Capcom is releasing a Resident Evil 3 remake for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3. The game uses the powerful proprietary RE Engine, which was also used to make Resident Evil 7 and the Resident Evil 2 remake, both of which were well-received. Dataminers have been poking around the code for the recently released Resident Evil 3 demo, and modder FluffyQuack found references to Nintendo Switch and the eShop respectively in the code.
