ARMS and Tekken 7 are hype. Pocket Rumble should also be out "by June 20 at the latest", which should be good.

Truth.

is any brave player here up to pick it up?
What Matt said. I'm also thinking of making a video guide for how to play it without knowing a lick of japanese, sort of like, "go here to get your quests, talk to this guy to upgrade your gear, this guy cooks your meat,' etc. The wikia already has a lot of the deeper information, since the game will have been out in Japan for the 3DS for a while by the time the Switch port releases, so anyone that really wants to play the game for the hundreds of hours of hunting shouldn't have a lot of trouble doing so. It'll just be harder for people that have never played Monster Hunter before, but not impossible in my opinion.

No, I usually don't track indies or remakes, unless I find it relevant. There are loads of forgettable indie games everywhere.

For example, this year I added Yooka-Laylee, Nex Machina and Cuphead. I try hard to find XBO exclusives, because this year was tough for them.

Besides XC2, i don't see any big title for any console.

In my opinion, 2017 was a great year to be a gamer.

I see lots of titles that excited me.

NSW kicked off in a extraordinary style: Mario, Zelda, Splatoon, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade. Can you believe that? All these franchises in one year?

PS4 is not that remake console anymore. It has everything to be a 100m console and the leader of the market again. So many incredible exclusive games like Gravity Rush, Nioh, Uncharted and Horizon.

Next year the show goes on. Nintendo has a lot of franchises to bring back and will be even stronger than this year and PS4 will bring Monster Hunter to the next generation and hopefully The Last of Us 2.

Mobile didn't kill the market, Nintendo's not dead and that's a great time to be a gamer.

My highlights:

[PS4] ...... Yakuza 0
[PS4] ...... Gravity Rush 2
[PS4,X1] ... For Honor
[PS4] ...... Horizon: Zero Dawn
[PS4] ...... Nioh
[X1] ....... Halo Wars 2
[PS4,X1] ... NieR: Automata
[NS] ........ The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
[PS4] ......... Persona 5
[3DS] ......... Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia - Echoes
[NSW] ......... ARMS
[PS4,XB1] ..... DiRT 4
[NSW] ......... Splatoon 2
[PS4] .......... Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
[PS4,XBO]....... Destiny 2
[PS4,XBO] ...... Project Cars 2
[PS4] .......... Warriors All-Stars
[3DS] .......... Metroid: Samus Returns
[NSW] .......... Super Mario Odyssey
[NSW] .......... Fire Emblem Warriors
[3DS] .......... Monster Hunter Stories
[3DS] .......... Etrian Odyssey V
[XBO] .......... Forza Motorsport 7
[PS4,XBO] ...... Assassin's Creed Origins
[PS4,XBO] ...... Middle-earth: Shadow of War
[PS4,XBO] ...... Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus
[3DS] .......... Pokemon Ultra Sun & Pokemon Ultra Moon
[NSW] .......... Xenoblade Chronicles 2

I'll be playing 2017 leftovers well into February or March 2018. But then I'm pumped about stuff coming next: SFV is getting a lot better with Arcade Edition, pretty much anything Nintendo announces for 2018 will be great, Prime 4 is possible before the end of the year, I might get back into Pokemon and Fire Emblem, there could be a new FromSoftware game, and Overwatch is still going strong.

I don't even have space in my head to imagine what else could be coming, and I know I'll have my hands full anyway. What a great time to be a gamer.

There's a few games I need to go back to: Nier Automata, Prey, Evil Within 2 and South Park.

I bought the complete edition of Horizon but I'm waiting until after the Christmas season.

I liked stick of truth a lot more, though I haven't finished fractured but whole...

fractured but whole just, I dunno, it feels more tainted by the industry... there is a lot of ubisoft bullshit in there that starts to hurt the experience

also, it just isn't as fresh anymore, and I don't think I have had as many WTF LOL moments a sin stick of truth

it just feels like a more polished, less fun game

but again, I haven't finished it
